His interest in healing and alternative medicine arose when he started translating homeopathic books in 1990. </div> <div> In 1994, he was introduced to qigong by Renate Hütten. It was then that he noticed an increased sensitivity in his hands and body. </div> <div> Later that year, he became a student of Dr. Shen who taught him how to develop special "Qi" or "energy" forces and how to use these forces for healing purposes. Roel is also a student of Zhixing Wang, whose qigong is both healing and transformational.</div> <div> In 2005, he met spiritual healer/teacher Derek O'Neill whose unconditional love and compassion have been very inspiring.</div> <bR> <div> Roel studied a variety of healing and massage modalities. All his work, however, carries the signature of healing, because that's what Roel is really about. He has 12 years of experience as a healer and has evolved from strongly energetic Medical Qigong therapy (Buqi) to spiritual counseling and soul-to-soul communication & healing.</div> <bR> <div> <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" >He is an instrument of the Divine, or as he says: </FONT>"I am not the doer, and yet I AM. It is God who heals." </div> <bR> <div> In his private sessions, Roel intuitively puts it all together and no matter what the reason is for a session with him, you will always get the healing you need.
